Waste heat recovery unit

The application field of waste heat recovery equipment is in the textile printing and dyeing industry for setting machines and coating machines.
Heat setting machines or coating machines use high-temperature air to dry and finish textiles, thereby setting the product. Typically, the air temperature required for production inside a heat setting machine is around 200 degrees Celsius. At the same time, it is necessary to continuously introduce fresh air and exhaust polluted waste gas. To ensure smooth production, a heat setting machine requires a fan to constantly introduce fresh air and exhaust a portion of the waste gas, which generally reaches temperatures of about 140 to 180 degrees Celsius. This portion of waste gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere, resulting in both energy waste and environmental pollution.
Waste gas heat recovery units are designed to extract the energy from the waste gas emitted by the heat setting machine to preheat the fresh air intake temperature required by the setting machine. This achieves the goal of reducing the exhaust gas temperature and saving energy for the heat setting machine.

Compared with other types of heat exchangers, it has the following characteristics:
a. High heat transfer performance. Especially for air-to-air heat pipe heat exchangers, its advantages are more evident.
b. Large average heat transfer temperature difference. The arrangement of cold and hot fluid channels is convenient, and the flow direction can be arranged in a simple counter-flow form.
c. Compact structure. Each heat pipe has a large heat transfer capacity, and a smaller number of heat pipes can be used to ensure heat transfer.
d. Flexible arrangement. Heat pipes can be used as universal heat transfer elements and can be combined arbitrarily by changing the number of heat pipes.
e. Safe and reliable operation. Each heat pipe is an independent heat transfer element and can be replaced separately without affecting the normal operation of the entire heat exchange unit.
